Objectives

The AORTIC Journal of Cancer Research is dedicated to providing a dynamic and authoritative platform that:

  • Highlights cancer research in Africa, addressing the critical underrepresentation in global scientific publications
  • Showcases research on the unique challenges, epidemiology, and treatment outcomes in Africa
  • Strengthens the evidence base for African governments to implement effective cancer control measures
  • Facilitates international collaboration in African cancer research
  • Enhances cancer research capacity and fosters diversity across the African oncology community

In alignment with AORTIC’s broader goals, The AORTIC Journal of Cancer Research upholds the integrity of African cancer research, advocates for evidence-based cancer policies, strengthens communication among researchers, and serves as a trusted voice for the African cancer community.
