About the Journal

The AORTIC Africa Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that serves as a platform for high-quality cancer research, policy analysis, and clinical advancements across the African continent. Anchored in the mission of AORTIC, the journal fosters the exchange of knowledge among African and global oncology experts, with the aim of transforming cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and palliative care in Africa.

We publish original research, systematic reviews, policy briefs, and regionally focused case studies related to all aspects of oncology. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: breast, cervical, and prostate cancers, HIV-associated malignancies, pediatric cancers, early detection programs, palliative care, health system strengthening, and oncology workforce development.

All articles are freely accessible to researchers, clinicians, and policymakers worldwide, reinforcing our commitment to equity and knowledge sharing.

Language of Submission: Manuscripts are accepted in both English and French to reflect Africa’s linguistic diversity and promote broad accessibility.
